NASA Voyager Recordings — 1992, Symphonies Of The Planets is a collection of recordings made by the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecrafts, capturing the sounds of the planets in our solar system. The recordings were not artificially altered in any way and were compiled by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson. The recordings feature a range of sounds, including the interactions of space plasma and charged particles with the magnetic fields of planets, as well as vibrations created by rings and moons. The recordings are abstract and otherworldly, with some sounds resembling familiar earthly noises. Each track is at least 30 minutes long and does not contain any harsh or unpleasant noise.
